Kotrl says: Tibi had her second litter and this time there were eight kittens. Several were never named and several looked very similar to the first batch. They were: Milly (very similar to her sister Milly-Molly-Mandy), Gabe (distinctive longhaired tabby with some ginger on her head), Frederick (all black), Ziggy (a tabby with a white patch on his head), an unnamed black-and-white kitten, and three unnamed tabbies. They are all in new homes except for Gabe and Frederick who are still with us. Gabe (pronounced Gah-Bee) is very sociable and gentle and she loves to curl up under the duvet with you at night or to sit on your lap.
Tibi has since been neutered. We didn't consider it at first because where we live is somewhat isolated and didn't expect any other cats to stray this far.
I'm not aware of any 'pet overpopulation' problem here in the UK. When we were looking for Tibi we called the shelter and were put on a waiting list since they're in short supply here. We adopted her as a kitten from some people in the local village.
What an adorable little girl. All the pictures are really cute yet this pic touched me the most as I love calicos. I wish that the US was in less supply of cats (our shelters are bulging).
I am glad Kotrl had Tibi spayed--perhaps responding to the many objections of commenters on this site in previous incarnations! Or just being overwhelmed with responsibility for these 8 kitties. A sure sign was the not naming of many! Thanks for posting. Did we ever see Tibi herself?
Loved the video! So pleased that you had Tibi spayed. BTY when the video starts Tibi is the very first cat you see, gray/black tabby. They are beautiful kittens but now Tibi can rest with no fear of uterine cancer because she was spayed (as any female cat is protected) and males are all protected from having testicular cancer if neutered. It's a win/win!
