Lucas [redux]

Eva says: My foster kitten Lucas stepped in his poop. He was bathed in pet shampoo Mango Tango. He did not make a peep but trembled like a leaf. He was towel dried, blow dried, and hugged. He snuggled and purred himself to sleep. When he woke he completely forgot his traumatic experience. Alas he smelled like mango tango!

Love this look- what a cutie! It would be nice to see Lucas dry and fluffy- can Good Morning Kitten provide us with links to the original posting? You used to do that!

Omg Lucas is such a cute little guy! These pictures are precious, it helps that he is posing but definitely great photography skills as well! I hope somebody on here sees him and adopts him :)

Lucas is so cute! Kittens will, unfortunately, have such accidents. But he seems to have survived his bath very well - and it's not so bad to smell like Mango Tango!

Poor Lucas, but glad that he is smelling sweeter now. I did not know that you could blow dry catties as their skin might not tolerate the heat. Hope that Lucas finds a home soon.

I hope he found a wonderful home.

Lucas reminds me of my late beloved kitty Pico. He lived long before the advent of effective anti-flea medications, and suffered terribly from flea-allergy dermatitis. I had to bathe him weekly or he'd lose all his fur and be covered with scabs. He learned to put up with it and I believe actually understood that it was worth it because he felt so much better.

he is so cute. Speaking of cats, this reminds me of Willow is a traveling feline. The calico was discovered in Manhattan five years after she disappeared from Colorado. What she has done in that time, and the way she got more than 1,600 miles from him, we will never understand. But she will soon be reunited with her family. Yes, DaryL. I suspect she appeared to be lost in CO and was taken home to NYC by a skiing family (in Aspen). After 5 years, she got that wanderlust again and got out to the LES, where someone checked the microchip! A good reason to chip our pets. Just look how healthy Willow looked!
