Leah says: I rescued Phoebe this fall. Someone had dumped her off near a friend's house, where there are many feral cats. She was filthy, covered in dirt and hundreds of fleas, but so sweet and loving. I couldn't leave her behind, so I brought her home and gave her a bath. She gets along great with our other kitties, and loves to sleep with my eight-year-old son at night.

Is she longhaired? Beautiful coloring in this photo. (I tried to take a stray to a no-kill shelter, but they didn't have space, and they won't allow you to just drop cats off. That's still no excuse for dumping this young charmer. Oh, yes--the "stray" just didn't like to wear her collar.)
