Adele says: Monty is a rescue kitten and is approximately 13 weeks old. He's a medium-haired silver tabby with gorgeous brown eyes. He's a very affectionate boy and loves lots of cuddles but he also likes a bit of rough and tumble. He's already spoilt rotten and has me wrapped around his little paw!

Monty has a "big brother" back in the UK named Moses. I couldn't bring Moses with me when I moved to Australia so he now lives with my old neighbors and he emails me frequently. I miss him terribly. He knows that he has a little brother and although he’s not chuffed about it he understands I need a bit of cuddly fur in my life. Monty is very similar in character to Moses -- both cheeky but affectionate boys who have an ‘M’ on their foreheads, hence their names beginning with 'M.'

Monty is so much fun and I love him to bits. It’s amazing what a difference they make to your life…. Although he did wake me up at 4.30am wanting to play!

@AdeleN, I had to read the text 5 times to understand how you could leave Moses behind as you came to Australia. I guess the transition would have been too hard on old Moses, and i recall that his namesake never got to the Promised Land either. Yes, Monty is glorious and as @BirmanMama said, above, you need fur. Still... I am glad that Moses keeps in touch with you.

Awwwwww Monty is adorable. I love my kittens too. And even with a brother and sister who play together, I still get woken up. Mostly for affection at different intervals through the night!!! Enjoy this little cutie!!!!!!

I love silver tabbies and of all the kittens I have fostered I have never had a silver tabby...probably because I would have kept it! I am sorry you couldn't keep Moses too. That would have been perfect for everyone! Good luck in your new life in Australia! Always wanted to go there.

Such a sweet beauty- although clearly relaxing here I can see how he would be a bundle of delightful energy! Natthecat- I was just looking at the regulations for importing animals to Australia- they look pretty strict and there is a quarantine period (apparently Australia wants to be sure they remain free of certain animal diseases)- maybe Moses wasn't up for that long process?

Thanks, @Manicat. I remember this sort of thing when taking my puppy from the UK and the docs I had to fill out to take him home to the US. It's a good policy, if inconvenient.
