Lauren says: One cold day, I went online and decided that I wanted a kitten. My cat was 17 years old and lived with my parents, and I really wanted my own. I posted an ad on Craigslist looking for a calico kitten, and in a short time, a lady who lived a few hours away called me and said she had one and would e-mail me a photo. I fell in love instantly -- but had no way to get out to her town in a blizzard to get her. Her neighbor happened to work in my city, so she drove her to me. It was meant to be! It turns out, Twila was part of a "surprise" litter of three kittens on the owner's farm. They had been outdoors and in the barn, but the weather had been so cold that two of the kittens actually died, and they found Twila unmoving in the snow. They brought her inside and warmed her, and she was okay.
Her full name is actually Twilight Rosalie Cullen (yes, her "mom" is a huge fan) after the books/movie. She's very playful and sweet, loves to watch birds and our pet rat Chantilly, loves to attack the shower curtain, and loves play fetch with toy mice. I think she's a keeper!
Twila is absolutely adorable! I love calico kittens, too, and this is a particularly lovely one. I'm so glad she was saved from the fate of her siblings, and now has a loving home with you! She's definitely a keeper!
May they both live long lives...and share love for each other for as long as possible...and that this young boy will always remember the feeling of love and tenderness he feels at this moment...
^=^ TWILA,a name very important,as important to be book! I like them both! SHE a beautiful ,sweet, precious Calico that fate has saved for your lovely family up. Yes! and' definitely your charming keeper!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Long happy life at all!!!! the video and' delicious!!!!!! Thanks you!!
Yummy! I loved the photo with the little boy, but so did so many others. I want to repeat the info that these kittens were a surprise delivery, according to Lauren. Therefore the original owner of Twila is not really at fault. Most kitties are born in the spring, not in the winter. Nature can be cruel.
What a cool pictures of her w/the book.....so cool! So very cool of you 2 rescue her & give her lots of love! very sorry to hear the others didn't make it ): SHE IS VERY LUCKY TO HAVE YOU!
