Michelle says: Marshmallow, Strawberry Shortcake, and Avalanche were all off to their new homes. Rusty and Peep were all set to be adopted next, but the adopter backed out. These poor kittens... they were so adorable, but for some reason we weren't having much luck. Then a family with a lot of kids saw the photos of Peep and Rusty, fell in love, and made them part of their family.
What a cute bunch of kitties! Thanks for re-posting these and thank you for your rescue and foster work, Michelle. I always enjoy reading about your fur babies!
I work in a 24 hour veterinary facility. We currently have a mama kitty and her two surviving kittens with us while the mom heals form surgery to repair a broken leg. The kittens look like baby versions of Rusty & Peep ~ one big and ginger, and the other smaller and buff-colored. They are adorable. Word has it that a neighborhood kid intentionally injured the mother and killed the rest of the litter before a good samaritan stepped in and rescued the three of them.
(^=^)(^=^) SPECIAL BROTHERS!!!!!! RUSTY and PEEP,are children sweet and fabolous, with soft colors, such that no one wanted??? Thanks to you and the beautiful family that will love them'forever! Are too cute together, and very affectionate!!!!!!!!!!!
I would have snatched up these two adorable ginger catties in a minute! They are so adorable. The two compliment each other as one's fur is light and the other is so much more orange. Thanks for sharing Rusty and Peep with us today, Michelle.
Natthecat, take a number! My children inadvertently injured a kitten by rough handling when they were too young to know any different, and I made sure they knew that was not acceptable and watched them closely after that. Both grew up to be extraordinary cat people, but I am sure had I not made it a big deal when they were little, they would have thought it was okay to hurt little animals. Who knows how that kid who killed those babies was raised. Not by loving, caring parents, I would guess!
