Ani [redux]

guremike says: Ani is our male Scottish Fold kitten. In April 2008, here in Tokyo, we were looking for a cat to add to our family as a foster parent in an Internet community. Then I met Ani. It seemed like we were made for each other, and meeting him changed my life. His name means "big brother" in Japanese. He is an affable kitten, but kind of timid and a real handful too. His likes include people (especially women), milk, and toothpicks. His dislikes include mint and being ignored.

Cute kittie ;) 3-Color, calico cats like your Ani are usually female in the US. That must not be the case for Ani's breed, Scottish Fold?

I thought Scottish Folds had small, "folded" ears? And as others have mentioned a male calico is odd. Do we have the correct pics for Ani? Beautiful cat!

Ani is adorable! But I, too, am wondering, because this is a calico kitten, usually female, and has normal ears - Scottish fold kittens normally have folded ears.
Whatever, Ani is lovely, and obviously well-loved, too!

Ani is a really handsome cattie, with such a sweet looking face. All the photos were terrific and it was difficult to choose a favorite. I also love the photo of Ani finding the end of his tail. So cute.
