Jill says: Martha, a beautiful three-year-old tortie, and her five kittens were with us in foster care for five weeks. When she came to the
Fredericton SPCA, Martha was so skinny, she probably didn't weigh more than 5 lbs and didn't like to be picked up. (I think it might have hurt her because she was so thin.) Although she hissed and growled at first, she was head-butting and rubbing our legs in no time; sometimes purring and growling at the same time. She definitely came around and is now a very loving kitty.
Martha is still waiting for her forever home but has found a new best kitty friend at the shelter named
Big Mike.
Dekker is the smallest of the boys but he has a big personality! He loves giving head-butts and having his head and ears scratched. He was great fun to foster and loved to play with any toy. He also loved to be around me, supervising what I was doing.
