Misty Gray [redux]

Karen says: I found Misty Gray at a petting zoo at the local county fair. A woman there had 15 or 20 kittens in a bunch of kennels and was selling them for $25 each. I watched as the kittens were being mauled by hundreds of kids. I first saw them on Thursday and I couldn't get them out of my mind. I went back on Saturday and offered her $5 each for the two sickest kittens. Misty had an eye infection and a really bad upper-respiratory infection. We spent a couple of weeks nursing her back to health -- with the help of a vet -- before she was adopted to a good home with a nice family.

Thank you! Thank you! I remember this cat seller story and it seems Darcy tried to put a good light on this horror! At least the cat seller followed a profit motive instead of drowning the kitties. Let's hear it for Capitalism and individual enterprise.

Misty Gray is an absolutley gorgeous cattie. Her fur color is amazing. I am so glad that she got better and was adopted to a good home. All the photos were excellent, difficult to pick a favorite. I like this Americana one!
