Kotrl says: Tibi had her second litter and this time there were eight kittens. Several were never named and several looked very similar to the first batch. They were: Milly (very similar to her sister Milly-Molly-Mandy), Gabe (distinctive longhaired tabby with some ginger on her head), Frederick (all black), Ziggy (a tabby with a white patch on his head), an unnamed black-and-white kitten, and three unnamed tabbies. They are all in new homes except for Gabe and Frederick who are still with us. Gabe (pronounced Gah-Bee) is very sociable and gentle and she loves to curl up under the duvet with you at night or to sit on your lap.
Tibi has since been neutered. We didn't consider it at first because where we live is somewhat isolated and didn't expect any other cats to stray this far.
I'm not aware of any 'pet overpopulation' problem here in the UK. When we were looking for Tibi we called the shelter and were put on a waiting list since they're in short supply here. We adopted her as a kitten from some people in the local village.
Eight kittens! Eight! I am glad you neutered Tibi. From the looks of things, it may have been the same daddy that found a way to Tibi the first time. This litter is so cute. Apparently, love will find a way--no matter how isolated you are.
Tibi sure makes some beautiful kittens. Once again the calico is my utter favorite. It would be interesting to meet papa kitty as I'll bet it was the same one both times as consistent as the kids turned out in both litters. Thank you so much for sharing them with us as they are all adorable:)
very lovely babies. so glad to know that mama has been spayed. hopefully gabe and frederick will be spayed and neutered. males will find a girl quickly and frederick will wander in search of a female.
Beautiful little kittens! I am so glad to hear that Tibi has been spayed. There are so many health reasons other than overpopulation to spay & neuter early.
