Anna says: Puff is a black smoke Persian kitten and was ten weeks old in these photos. He loves the outdoors, bug catching, and food! He also likes a good cuddle with me in the evening.

Puff sure has the right name. He's a handsome big ball of loving, purring fur with wonderful golden eyes. Please keep him safe outdoors.

Such a handsome black Persian cattie. I have a feral, TNR, black Persian that I feed, but I fell sorry for the little guy, as he is getting mats in his fur. I can groom him a little, but I have a difficult time getting the mats out. What do you do, Anna when Puff gets them from being outside?

Stunning! And this photo is so romantic. As for hair mats, my Maine Coon had them so badly I called in a specialist who came in a hazmat suit to clip and comb some of them. A vet can do it. Sedation may be involved. There are also dog trimmers who will do cats. Your wonderful Puff deserves only the best. Gosh, he is thrilling. Made my day.

Love Puff's nice wavy mane! My long haired black kitty also has a problem with matting. Start brushing them early in their lives, almost daily, to catch any knots before they get too big- and to get them used to being brushed! Koobah was shaved once when he was about 1 yr old, then at 6, just needed 2 spots on his rump shaved. Now he's brushed daily & loves it. :)
