Kine says: Mio was born on April 6, 2006. Her mom, Mia, is starting to get pretty old and was really weak after giving birth to three kittens. Mio was the only one lucky enough to stay alive, but she was really weak, and her mom was too exhausted to take care of her newborn. I spent the first day with Mio in a towel, rubbing her to keep her warm. Luckily, her mom got better and started to take care of her, but for the first few months we had to feed her with a bottle. Today Mio is a very happy and energetic cat! She loves playing outside and cuddling with my mom and me. She won't let anyone else touch her silky fur though. She lives here at home in Norway with us, her mom Mia, her grandmother Samba, and our tuxedo cat Rambo.

Mio is adorable and what a nice "happy ending" story for my Sunday morning. So happy that Mia is better and all the catties stayed together. Thanks for all you kind helping care with the catties.

What joy! Mio is worth the trouble. Kitties can bring out the best in humans.

All are so pretty. So glad Mia is okay. Maybe Mia should be fixed so she is not in any danger of having kittens again, for her sake.

I think Mia should have been fixed long before she was "too old" to be having kittens but since this happened almost 9 years ago I guess there is not much point now.

i agree with judymack. just the thought that she was too old to have kittens is sad.

So adorable! I hope you have arranged for her mother to be spayed so she doesn't go through the trauma again.

What a sweet kitten. I sincerely hope both mom and kit are fixed now.
