Samantha

Samantha was given to me as a surprise birthday present by my coworkers. She was found in a burlap bag by the side of the road as a tiny kitten and taken to a shelter where my coworkers chose her for me. She was a very small kitty with wispy black fur and little did I know she would blossom into a beautiful poofy Persian-like cat that would be my best friend for almost 17 years!

Samantha was a love. Her photos make me smile. In fact, black kitties have a comical aspect, possibly because all is concentrated on the eyes. I like the smoky wisps of fur too.

Thank you all for your wonderful and heartfelt comments about my beloved Samantha. She was a beautiful fluffy girl and I came to call her Poofie most of the time! I truly did have wonderful coworkers who knew how much I needed a little furry bundle of love.

I'm in love with those gorgeous golden eyes and lovely "poofie" fur. Samantha sounds like a real angel, and despite her awful beginning in a burlap sack, the rest of her story is as it should be for every kitten ... lots of love, friendship and purrs.
