Fiona [3]

Mary says: When we went to the LaGrange-Troup County Humane Society to look for two new kittens, Fiona was the first kitten I held. She was in a common area playing with her littermate, and when I scooped her up I immediately fell in love with her curious little face. She wasn't squirmy at all and loved to be held. She fell asleep on me within three minutes of my holding her! I knew right away that Fiona and her brother Friday were going to be our new kittens.

Fiona's name didn't come until later. I wanted to give her an "F" name like Friday as a tribute to our beloved Figaro. When I searched the Internet for names, I finally came across "Fiona" which actually means "white or fair." Since she is a very light colored tabby kitten, I thought this fit very well! And it fits her little personality to a "T."

Friday and Fiona have been at home with us for nearly two weeks now. They are always bouncing around the house and they love the carpeted stairs to that go up to the bedrooms. They sleep together and play together and are best of friends. Fiona is the big sister! She weighs more than little Friday and usually "wins" their kitten battles, but Friday is getting bigger and starting to win a few battles himself! Like her brother, Fiona is very friendly and loves visitors.
