BlessaKitty's Mom says: Blessa is a beautiful five-month-old Maine coon. She came into our family recently and we fell in love instantly. She is extremely personal and loves to interact with you, whether through playing, talking, snuggling, etc.

A gorgeous kitty , would love to have a MC , but never will, always adopting from shelters :-) ! Never mind, all kitties are adorable . But this one is a beauty, for sure.

What a sweet heart !!! Love the expressive face. I have seen Maine Coons in the shelters and being given away on Craigslist, so if you truly do not want to buy from a breeder you can find them

Blessa is beautiful - Blessa is the purfect name for her. My neighbor and I rescued a gorgeous Maine Coon mama and her 4 kittens who were abandoned in our subdivision. We brought them to The Atlanta Humane Society. They were all adopted in less than and week!:):):):):)

Elly, there is a shelter in Avonmore, PA (a little Northeast of Pittsburgh) called Pet Connection, Inc. I volunteered with them when I lived in the area and have adopted 3 Maine Coons from them. There seems to be a plethora of Maine Coons in that area and not all breeders are good people. One kitty was horribly abused (my Vet tried to talk me into showing her) and the other two were kitty-mill babies. Coon kitties are great companions. Mine are convinced they are human!

Beautiful! Looks just like our 15-year-old Maine Coon, in the face. Ours wandered up to our home, as a kitten, and adopted us!

Blessa is a beauty with catitutde and she knows it. Maine Coons, Ragdolls and Norwegian Forrest Cats are very similar in looks and temperament and can be sometimes found in shelters for adoption. I also am not a fan of breeders.

My sweet Maine Coon boy was a rescue. His previous people relinquished him for house soiling. The poor guy had a raging UTI with crystals...no wonder he didn't use the litterbox! One recurrence of the infection and another round of antibiotics and my sweet Atticus has been fine. I've had him 3 years...he's 4 1/2.
