Nine Foster Kittens [3]

Jill says: My fiance, Mark, and I have fostered many kittens together for the Fredericton SPCA, but I was out of the country for a period of time this past summer/fall and he fostered these nine babies by himself while I was away. Mark says that they were a great bunch of really fun kittens and our adult cats loved to run around and play with them.

All of the other kittens except for Gabby were ill and on medication. Our good friends adopted Boris and Gabby (they are now called Angus and Tofu) and we get to visit with them often. Bonkers and Skittles unfortunately succumbed to a nasty upper respiratory disease that was going around the shelter this summer. All of the other kittens quickly found happy forever homes!

You should treasure your fiance Mark! He did a good job with these kittens while you were away. And the photos are so endearing. Very sorry about Bonkers and Skittles--they were lovely, too.

Kudos to Mark for the awesome job of caring for nine kittens, 8 of which were ill. They are all wonderful babies. It's heartbreaking that baby Bonkers and baby Skittles didn't survive.

Oh a most beautiful kitten pile! Bonkers and Skittles were beautiful and if you are like me you will never forget the ones you lost. I am so happy all the rest did well!

That's a lot of kittens to foster. Good for you! A basket of cuties. So sorry about Bonkers and Skittles. It makes a permanent scar on our heart when we lose our precious fur children <3
