Jolene is a beauty and I hope she will be forever happy. No toes, I guess that means no scratches, also. I love her, especially b/c she reminds me of my Pixel--who I couldn't do right by financially. A grief unending.

the most excellent thing about kitties is that they differ from humans in that they don't feel sorry for themselves they just keep on keeping on. Jolene is a special girl and you are lucky to have her. I keep in my heart every day how special each and every one of my babies are. I see their persevering spirit and know that there is absolutely nothing I won't do for them, even if I have to do without myself.

"Jolene, Jolene, Jolene~" ...Isn't that how the old song goes? This Jolene reminds me of a beautiful kitty that shared its life with me for 11 years when I lived abroad..she hobbled around on faulty front paws, but she was beautiful and a loving creature!! She followed me back to the U.S. eventually and I shed a lot of tears when she departed this world about 11 years ago...
