Penny-Plops! [3]

spygirl says: Penny-Plops! is our polka-dot kitten, now almost seven months old. She has an amazing character and is, as all kittens are, very inquisitive. When she was very small she enjoyed sleeping in my hat which she has now grown too big for! Currently, she enjoys climbing (on our shoulders, ladders, the clothes horse), watching out of the window, and playing chase and a peeping game we call "Peep and Squeak." In two months' time she will be able to venture outside. I'm very excited for her! She lives with her sister Lana-Banana (or Mushroom!) and our five-year-old cat Emily.

My two cents--let Penny watch the outside from inside! Besides, the outside hardly looks cat-friendly or interesting from your photos. This precious cat is worth saving from trains, cars and people.

I guess you let your other cats out too. I know this is an old post but if they are all still alive, consider making them indoor only kitties. They will be mad for a while but they will get over it and live a longer, healthier, safer life. City life is no place for a cat.

You can see how much you luv your kitties by the gorgeous pics - continue that love by keeping them inside! Harder for you to adjust than them -we want to take care of them for a longer life!!! and longer enjoyment for yourself.

She is a sister cow cat to our recently passed Sonny. We miss him and she reminds me of him. In these disturbing times - indoor cats seem to be a safer bet - but I suspect GM Kitten is not the best place to rag on loving owners who know best their own cats and circumstances. Until recently my cats too went in and out. Times have changed. Some folks sound so condescending and smug. I think admiring the Kittens is the point of the site - and I look forward to that. Not the comments that are judgmental.

Penny is agreeing with Natthecat and so am I. Too dangerous outside for cats. Keep her and her siblings safe and sound indoors. It is the least they deserve.
