brackenb says: Tansi came from a friend whose cat had a litter of four. She was the most adorable kitten -- you can see why she chose me!!! Her name is actually that of a flower spelt the Welsh way. It doesn't really mean anything, I just liked the name. Tansi has grown into the most beautiful cat. She likes attention on her terms only and tolerates her companion Dee-dee. She is not a lap cat, preferring to spend her time either outside or curled up in some secret corner of the house. Her character is as colourful as her coat and I love her dearly.

I'd bet that the little beauty will eventually start snuggling.

Several of our kitties over the years started out like that, but eventually they'd end up in our laps whenever they wished. Our Mosie (a bottle baby) didn't want to be held or snuggled until almost two years after we found her... now she "visits" at least once a day and often makes it clear that she WANTS to be held.
