Michelle says: Blueberry Muffin was one of two girls in our foster litter. Like her brothers Rusty and Peep, Blueberry was all set to be adopted when her adopter backed out. But the parents of the family that was adopting Rusty and Peep heard about how Blueberry would be the last kitten to get adopted and they didn't want her to be alone, so they surprised their kids by adopting all three! It was pretty cool. They even printed out the photos of all three of them and had the pictures on the mantel when we delivered them -- like they were a part of their family already. We invited the family over a year later and their kids had fun playing with the foster kittens we had at the time.
Blueberry I would have named you Blackberry! I love this picture with the contrast...like the yin and yang. Michelle takes such beautiful pictures. I wish she would send more recent ones although any kitten picture whether new or old makes me happy.
I could nibble on Blueberry Muffin all day ... It is great that she was adopted along with her siblings Rusty and Peep! Live long and well sweet little girl.
Looks like her eyes are starting to shift from kitten-blue to a more mature gold. The only blue eyes I remember in cats are for Siamese and their kind and some white cats.
