Megan says: A few years ago when we were living in California, our friends adopted two female cats, supposedly both spayed. After a few months these two cats grew very fat, and then surprisingly they both had a litter of kittens within one day of each other. You can imagine the chaos in our friends' household, going from two cats to 12! Luckily all the kittens were adopted, including Clive who came to live with us. Happy-go-lucky, smart and playful, Clive won over our other cat, Eliot, with one show of his cute white belly. Clive and Eliot have been brothers ever since.
Half-cat, half-dog, Clive meets us at the door when we return home, sleeps every night on our feet, and carries on cat-human conversation every evening. He likes to be naughty in a good-natured way -- doing things like pulling down the laundry while I'm trying to hang it -- and he loves to explore every nook and cranny of every shoe, bag, and shelf. His many nicknames include Clibe, Angel, Wangel and Mangel, depending on the circumstances. Clive was born in California, moved to to France when he was two, and moved to Hong Kong, where we still live, when he was four. He is a worldly and well-traveled boy who is at home wherever he is.
