Little Kitty's Big Kittens

Philippe says: This cat family lived in our backyard and under the house. The mother, whom we called Little Kitty, and her two kittens had been hanging around for months. We fed them, but we weren't able to touch any of them. Then a few months later two more kittens were born. That did it. We were determined to trap them and have them fixed, which we finally did. Little Kitty and the older kittens were too feral to socialize so we released them back into the yard, where they thrived for a while before eventually moving on. The two little ones we kept inside with us and now they are family pets!

Glad you got them fixed.. It's a rewarding experience getting a feral to trust you.

I suppose it's the mum ! They look well for homeless cat.

There's no such thing as 'too feral to socialize,' and outdoor cats statistically live for a shorter time than indoor ones.

Thanks for the comments! These kittens must be grown cats by now. They have left the yard shortly after ANOTHER set of 2 (now family pets) came along. By the time we were able to catch these first 2 and their mother, after the 2 new ones were born, they were too old to socialize and take in, and their eyes didn't look like this anymore...
