Michelle says: My friend rescued Monkey from her mom's backyard seven years ago. He had a foxtail up his nose and she saved him. She also got his mom and siblings all spayed/neutered. I totally fell in love with him (this was long before we ever fostered Nermie, Orange, Blueberry Muffin, Fozzie, Annie, and dozens of others, and I only had one other kitty, Hershey). My husband named him. Monkey decided he LOVES my husband and sleeps with him every night right above his head or on his side, purrrrrrrrrrring away. It's pretty cute.

Our now-grown 20 pound cat loves to sleep stretched out across my husband's lap when he sits in his Lazy-boy chair in the evening. No longer a light-weight kitten but still claiming her special spot!

This reminds me SO much of my husband and Mittens----in fact, I have a picture of Jason with Mittens as a baby kitten. The same kind of love and affection is there--it is so sweet!!!

God bless you both for taking in these little critters. Monkey looks a bit like my boy Angus, one of several kittens that I fostered and couldn't part with. They have made my life so much fuller.

Kittys can really steal your heart away. This guy is a little love bug, if ever I saw one.
