Min says: These kitten photos were taken in the street of Bali, Indonesia. I was on trip there for a photography contest organized by ClubMed Bali. In Bali, there are many stray cats and dogs. It was fascinating to see how they blended with people and were unafraid of being taken photos of.

They're beautiful :) I love the coloring on this one, she reminds me of my torbie. Did they let you pet them?

In my experience most cats/kittens in Bali scare very easily and are not that friendly because dogs (stray and otherwise) reign supreme there. It's a tough place for kitties and kitty-lovers.

That's awful!!! How could people let this happen?
Beautiful kittens though. I would give them a good home if I could go there and grab them.

I didn't get to pet them. These kitties were really tiny in real life.

so very sad; bedraggled and skinny. What a hard life for these street kitties.

This one looks so Siamese in shape, the profile, and especially the ears!! Thanks for showing us how cute the kittens in Bali are. I'm ready to move now!

In Bali cats have it easier than dogs. The cats are allowed into homes and are kept as pets. From what I could see dogs are treated like rats, it was heartbreaking. So many of them were mangy, injured, scrawny.

Beautiful photography ... I hope you won the contest! Too bad these little cuties can't find good homes.

When in Mexico, the kitties were low on the totem pole. One was so frail but the chain for food was: humans, livestock, dogs then cats. The dogs kept the coyotes away so they were fed first. Not many kittens lived. So sad.

I agree with Symeez Girl about the kitties having that "Siamese" look about them---so angular. And so photogenic, too:):):)

Oh, poor babies. So pretty and yet so skinny. I think I would have forgotten about the camera and just been giving them food. (not to say you didn't)

What beautiful kittens, each one very special,if someone could just take them home. This one here looks like a tortie I think. No matter what they look like, they deserve love just like everyone else :)

I'm glad to see the bedraggled, skinny, and sometimes forgotten street kittens featured on here. It just makes me want to work that much harder and donate that much more time and money to making the lives of kittens like these better.

They look very hungry. I wish there was a way to help all homeless cats and kittens all over the world.
