Abbycatz says:
Oliver was a feral kitten before we got him. A friend of my mother found him near a roundabout (meowing his head off) one evening after dinner out at a restaurant. We had wanted a little kitty, but I what I really imagined us getting was a black shorthair female. When my mom offered him to me she said we could just do a trial run with him and if we didn't like him, we could just take him to our shelter. But how could I reject such a cute little thing with such a sad story?
Well, it turned out that that sweet kitten was really a little devil at heart. I love Oliver immensely, but he is a terror. One minute we're cuddling and the next he's trying to rip my face off. He has grown into a very robust and strong cat who enjoys playing very rough with our Australian shepherd. Oliver is heading into his seventh year of life, but he refuses to give up his kitten ways. The only sign of age I have seen with Oliver is that he takes a few more naps than he used to and he decided when he's had enough of rough-housing.
