Heather says: Dakota was adopted from a Ft. Worth, TX shelter at 9 weeks old. She was the loudest one in the cage! She loves to play and will fetch and return her toy mouse. Another favorite pasttime is to chase ice cubes on the floor. She has turned out to be a happy, healthy, loving kitten!

I think claws are painted on one kitty to distinguish that one from similar kitties in the same litter. She looks very contented. May you both have many happy years and lots of purring!

those are nail caps...i used to do that to my cat but he just took them off in a matter of minutes, but its a great idea in general

Dakota looks like she is planning to wait until you fall asleep. At least to chew off those nail tips! I'm impressed they they work for you and your furniture, but Dakota looks like she has only temporarily surrendered.

We use SoftClaws nail caps on Juliet and they work really well -- she has some bright pink ones just like that but they have really cute colors and she has red and green at Christmas. They're great for protecting furniture...if the cat will let you.
