Shee-Na

SheeNasPlace says: Shee-Na is a Siamese/mixed kitten who is extremely affectionate and is just bouncing off the walls with kitten energy. She is very tiny but has grown a lot and her dilute calico markings are really starting to be so pretty. She was found out there a tiny bit of fluff in the road by a Co-Worker who I adopted her from. She is super-friendly and always comes to me for attention and play time. She has a very spunky attitude and makes me laugh each time she arches her back at me and walks sideways when approaching me in play time...she is alot of laughs and brings my life and home so much love. I am happy that we found each other. We both are looking forward to being members of The Daily Kitten. Thanks.

Do you know what you have to do here as a member? Post lots more photos of Shee-na! I don't own a cat, and even I managed to post photos of a semi-stray. Of course, some members haven't posted yet.

I hope Shee-na has been fixed, stays inside, and is friendly to humans who are friendly. Some people stayed overnight at a friend's place, and the cat there sprayed all their bedding with urine. Eeewww!

Nice story about your lovely cat. Does Shee-Na have masking only on the left side? The photos are a little difficult to interpret--probably are cell phone shots.

Thank you all for the wonderful comments. She is fixed so she won't spray anywhere...lol. I am getting to know this site, so be patient with us on the postings and pixs:). We feel the welcome and it means so much, thank you again.

Oh and Natthecat, yes she only has the markings on her left side. When she was younger, she only had on her nose and ears. I will try to post and earlier pix so you can see what i'm talking about. So who knows, she may change her markings again the older she gets. Glad you liked her story.

MissyofMissylandia she is the Queen of the house now and very spoiled. I built her a town home and it has three stories, on being the roof that she can lounge on..lol. She's got everything a kitten could want. :)

Natthecat the last pix is when I first got her and her markings were not on her cheek at all as you can tell. It was confined to her nose area, but now, seems like it spread more across her face. Looks like she was playing in mud or something..lol.

I am pretty shocked to see her original photo. As a worry wort, I would check with the vet about this change in color--just to be sure it is in normal range. I once ran to the vet when my cat opened his mouth and I saw large dark splotches in his palate. The vet said it was common and not to freak out. Too late. One of my oldest friends had just died from melanoma. So I was super freaked out.

I apologize. I never had a Siamese cat and didn't know that the mask develops over time. I am sure what I said was scary, but Shee-Na should be fine. Again, I am so sorry.

Love that kitten energy- endless fun! Also love to hear about how her coloring is changing over time. She is a beauty and sounds like a wonderful companion.
