binkasbuddy says: This little tyke was from a local animal sanctury. She is terribly hyper at the moment .. in fact just a few moments ago she pulled down the christmas tree! She is so sweet when she wants to be though too! She has been sleeping in bed with me since we got her and loves licking my face (eeewwwwww!). It is so annoying when she just won't quit it, but still her cuteness cannot be denied. Her head is so small at the moment, and her eyes so big so her nickname is Golem (from lord of the rings - hahaha). You can tell she is going to grow into a very pretty, lovely kitty.

An all white cat is so striking--she really shines like a star. Love the nickname--I should've named my last cat Gollum, mostly because of the eyes too! :-)

Star is beautiful! I'm partial to white kitties, and she is a really lovely one! Hard to believe she's so mischievous, with such an angelic face!

@binkasbuddy, does this make 8 or 9 cats in your household now? I don't think you are fostering. Star probably pulled down the tree because it was unbalanced. She is as pretty as the cat who went to heaven--an Asian fable that I loved as a child.

8 felines is currently the total! Although that does include Smokey who just appeared out the back of our house one day and didn't want to leave. None of us had seen him before so we made posters and one evening posted them through all the nearby houses and knocked on various doors to see if his owners were actually local and he had just taken an unusual turn. Nothing came of this, except perhaps the knowledge that we live near some really nice people whom we otherwise would not have spoken to.. So our next step was to take him to the vets to see if he had a chip. He did and his home was quite a while away! Anyway, he went home but a week later he was at our house AGAIN! we couldnt believe it! cats are amazing!
He comes and goes, days as a time, but he is always very welcome!
