mellen says: Simon was sick when I adopted him from the Athens-Clarke County Animal Control, so sick I was warned he might not make it. That didn't keep either of us from fighting though! After a long day at the vet (being treated for pneumonia, dehydration, malnutrition and worms), he's been getting noticeably better by the day! It took him a week to finally come out from the couch, two weeks to play with string and beg for food, and he just keeps getting fatter and healthier. I still haven't been able to get a picture of him with his eyes open, but I guess that will be the next milestone. :)
