She doesn't purr either. I"ve heard that some cats that lose their mom at a very young age don't. Sometimes when you pet her and you can tell she's really content,you can put your hand on her throat and you can feel a very light vibration but you hear nothing.

She is the present! Pretty kitty, but I would like to know why she was hand raised from 2 weeks old. Was she orphaned or abandoned?

I went to the pound to get a cat and didn't find one I wanted so I was leaving and a girl was walking in with some kittens that were under her house. She had been mewing constantly for over 24 hours so she assumed mama wasn't coming home...she probably got hit by a car =( I took her to the vet to find out how old she was and the vet said between 2-3 weeks so he needed to be bottle fed kitten formula. I loved every minute of it. She was so sweet.....still is...sometimes LOL.

Yes, I was going to mention that mustache, but there is so much more of Cali to love. Her fur is gorgeous. And I like the tattoo on your right arm--wearing your love on your arm!

The tattoo you see in the pic is actually a blue's clues tat for my nephew. I do have my cat Cali tattooed on one calf and my cat Oliver on the other.

I've tried to take pics of my tats but they never come out clear. I need to get my Cali tat redone but Oliver's tat still looks great.

She is a beautiful. We have a calico and she absolutely rules the roost. Her favorite human is my husband, who has her spoiled rotten. She likes to have her nose petted. She will hold her head back like your cat and open her mouth and purr.
