sheri12 says: He is the love of my life. I found Milo when he was 3 weeks old and he has been with me now for 17 years. He is very lovable and as close to human as possible. He sleeps with a pillow and snores all night. Two years ago I almost lost him and was diagnosised with diabetes, it has been a hard road and they didnt think he would make it but I nursed him back to health and give him insulin injections twice a day. I feel like we are eachothers guardian angels :) Milo can be kind of finicky at times :-)

Love him well - my daughter's cat is 17 and was just diagnosed that his cancer returned. I don't think he will survive it this time:(

Injections and saline IVs buy our loved ones more time and are so worth it! We are lucky to live in an era where we have these relatively easy ways to keep these companions with us. And they are grateful--they know we love them.

Our boy Doodles was diagnosed with diabetes when he was 10. My husband gave him insulin injections twice daily for 5 years. He seemed to know the needle was helping as he would gently rub it before receiving the injection. I wish you and Milo many more years together!

I have a fuzzy orange cat named Milo too. The name fits him. He's 10-years-old.
