Maggie [redux]

Julia says: This is our orange kitten Maggie. She lives with us in Madrid, Spain, and we love her to bits. We named her after Liz Taylor's character in the movie Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, but now we think she more resembles Maggie from The Simpsons.

Maggie is our first cat ever. We adopted her when she was just six weeks old. She came home in a tiny pink shoebox and we fell in love with her instantly. She's now six months old and doesn't fit in that box anymore (though she still tries to), but she's still that crazy, friendly, playful, chatty, and adorable kitty. She loves playing fetch like a puppy, biting hands and feet, going out for walks, boxes of any size and color, stealing food from my plate, and sleeping on my keyboard when I'm trying to work. Her other hobbies are attacking her BFF Kermit the frog, purring like a maniac, and sleeping in the weirdest places.

Maggie is absolutely precious! She reminds me so much of my 2 kitties! One of them, likes to do half of what Maggie likes to do, and the other cat likes to do the other half! Very sweet kitten u have there!

kittiesmama you are correct. My vet told me that all ginger females are about as rare as male calicos. I, too, have an all ginger female named Pooh Bear.
