Mira [redux]

Tom says: Mira belongs to my mother and is a "one woman's cat," so I was quite surprised when she allowed me to take that photo. The biggest challenge when taking it was one of the other cats in the house was quite curious and was doing his best to inspect the photo gear like all cats do (by lying on it and generally being in the way - imagine how "funny" it is to try to use a cable remote control when six-kilo Norwegian Forest cat wants to play with it...). Mira is still an "indoor cat," but that might change when she get older.

Nice Flickr photos. Sounds like you have a little photo tent for your smaller subjects to get clean photos. Hope we see that 6-kilo NF cat here soon!

That's just one possible interpretation of her expression. Maybe she was yawning, or commenting on your photographic manner before she saw how good she looks in your photos.

Mira knows she is a pretty girl and is having her picture taken. Love to have been there watching you take attempting to get good shots (which you surely did) while working around the antics of a big Norweigian Forest cat. I hope that Mira never becomes an outside cat as too many bad things lurk in the out of doors for cats. I have five inside cats and love it:) Give her a petting for me!

My Benny, who is now three, looks like the male version of Mira and would love to meet her! Wish I could see the reaction of the two of them together.

Liked the Flickr gallery, especially Silver, and the spotted "cat" scratching its ear. Would love to know what kind of cat that is! I am afraid it would make a meal of Mira.
