lovinkat says: The good folks at Stray Cat Alliance put out the word to their volunteers that a litter of kittens needed rescue at our local animal shelter. With 40 minutes until their time was up, I rolled in with my cat carrier and took them home. They were about 3.5 weeks old. One of them was in great shape: confident, in charge and dressed in his best grey flannel suit. So I named him Don Draper. His littler mate was kind of scrawny and not in the best shape health-wise, but he worked hard to be charming and sweet in spite of it all. I named him Ken Cosgrove. Both are super cute, very active, cuddly, soft, healthy, and smart. I could go on and on.
Since I already have a house full of felines, these two are available for adoption through Stray Cat Alliance ( link:
Adoption Application )
Update: Good news: Don and Ken met their new mama last night and they go to their fur-ever home this weekend! Don kept grabbing her pant leg asking to be cuddled so he could purr and make biscuits on her shoulder. Ken stood on the cat tree near her chair and leaned in for snuggles and kisses. So cute
