Mama San's #6: Rocky Raccoon [3]

Betsy says: Rocky Raccoon was named due to her facial markings. She appeared to have a mask across her eyes and nose. Rocky was a bit of a loner and, consequently, we weren't able to learn much about her personality. However, she did have one trait that made itself known early on -- she loved shoes! We had to be very careful not to step on her, because she was always underfoot or perched right on our toes. She was adopted in September by a young man in his early twenties who'd never had a cat before but always wanted one. They seemed to be a good fit, and he renamed her Boomer after a popular Sci-Fi TV character. :-)

Mama-San's kittens were all wonderful. Rocky or Boomer was a special prize. I love the way she crosses her paws. Hope her new home as a first cat is happy for her.

From the pictures, I'd say that she is really a very social kitty, and will "blossom" as time goes by. She is certainly responding to the photographer and the other kittens - and she's a real beauty!

They really are a beautiful litter of kits but I have to admit Petunia is my favorite. That sweet little face gets me every time I see it.

Just can't say enough how very cute this little one is. I love her white booties and the way she crosses her paws, and her face has such an innocence about it. I think she will become a beauty.
