Devin says: Rupert is a rescue kitten. The woman who fostered him (I adopted him at nine weeks) said he was set to be euthanized. How could I let him go?? He is very frisky and playful, always into something. For such a sweet face, he really is a little monster sometimes. But of course, he also has a sweet cuddly down side. He loves to sit purring on my lap while I edit photographs, and sleeps in between my boyfriend and me at night. His one-year birthday is coming up soon and I'm so happy to have him as my new best buddy.

Rupert, the ginger boy, is very spicey and good for your health, but sometimes he has such a serious expression. Perhaps he wonders why humans wanted to euthanize him and his kind.

Euthenize; what a soft and extreemly inaccurate way to say kill!
I am so grateful that in the instant case the subject in question, Dear Rupert survived to be the radiant bundle of life, mischief, and love we see here today.

Agreed, #Stonewall. It is murder. Have you read the NYT piece on the culling of cats in Australia (April 28, 2019)? They want to poison the ferals to save their "rodent like native species." I do not care if they are saved--they are no better than rats! Aways cats first, in my opinion. My baby was very sick with a stroke. His death by the vet was murder. BTW in Australia, bunnies and foxes are next.
