paddimir says: I was taking photos of the Alhambra Palace in Granada, Spain, mostly to capture the Islamic architecture. I had reached a little courtyard in the middle of the complex and decided to have a seat on a bench and eat my lunch. There are quite a lot of semi-wild cats that roam the Alhambra, fed by tourists and locals. A brood of them strolled past showing little interest, but this tiny kitten took up residence under my bench and mewed for attention. I quickly changed from "architecture lens" to "kitten lens" and tried to take some pictures without spooking it. I give it a wee bit of my pastry, and it wasn't shy about clawing for some more! I tried to get my camera down ground level so I had a kitten's eye view, but this meant that I couldn't actually see what I was shooting, so I'm pleased that they focused pretty well.
