gizmoody says: FURgie is now 11 months old and is the softest and most lovable kitty who must be close to my wife and me -- but especially my wife -- at all times. Little FURgie was found by Animal Control under a Mini Cooper at the Princeton train station in Princeton, New Jersey, when she was just eight weeks old. My wife and I had decided to adopt a kitten and I saw this fluffy peach-coloured kitten in a cage at the animal shelter with a sign telling people not to take her out. She was so cute and wanted to touch my finger but then would hiss and stay back. One cell-phone photo to my wife and FURgie was adopted -- so named because she is so FURry.

FURgie has lived with us in New Jersey since then and has become our little baby. She has to sleep with us, run around behind us everywhere (she runs like a horse), pounce on our toes, lick our faces and hands, and fall asleep with one paw touching one of us. But she sometimes likes to bite if you do something that really worries her. Two weeks ago FURgie moved with me to the Washington, DC, area and has really missed her mom (my wife), but she sees her on the weekends when she sleeps on her mom's chest all night long, forgetting that I even exist. My wife will finally be moving in with us during Christmas so FURgie will be 100% happy again.

FURgie has been the best thing that has happened to my wife and me so far and we can't imagine living without this little kitty, who drinks water by dipping her paw in her water bowl followed by licking of the water from her paw. She has great character and has matured into a beautiful young cat. She has inspired us to write a children's book called "FURgie the Cat" sometime soon. For now she has her very own blog.

This FURgie is a doozy and very loved. Not only has she got peachy fur, she has a marking on her face's left side that makes her very special and instantly recognizable.

FURgie is magnificent . I mean just check out the intense look in those big eyes! And her coat is as thick and luxurious as a Bobcat's. Her facial marking is very cheeky and adorable.
All in all, any kitty lover would envy you for your FURgie!

Unforgettable FURgie:) I am so smitten with your kitten:) I think she is a dilute calico. She has the most unusual fur coloring I have seen. I think she could even be a dilute tortie. Whatever she is, she has the cutest face and would be quite a little character to have around for sure:)
