Peter says: We wanted to keep one of Bailey's kittens and we found the three red males to be the prettiest. But since Bailey was our red "replacement" for our departed and much loved red cat Simba, the choice was NOT to go for a red male. So then we went for one of the females, and my wife found Pluiz to be the prettiest. Pluiz (pronounced like "Louise" with a P in front) or, in full, Pluiz de La Ruiz, is more of a "mama" type who used to let her sisters try to get milk from her even though she hadn't any. Mama Bailey lost interest in breastfeeding and our Pluiz took over that job :) Isn't that just sweeeeeeeeeet! It was a funny sight I can tell you. We love our girl Pluiz.

Another gorgeous sibling from the litter. Fantastic photos, very hard to choose a favorite. I love photos of cat yawns and always feel lucky when I have succeeded in catching one :-)

It is so hard to choose one to keep and find good homes for all the others.
I have found over the years that if we find ourselves with a litter of 6 for instance; Ask people if they are able to take two each.
This way they go to their new forever homes in bonded pairs and I believe it makes all of them settle in much easier. Plus it's twice the joy and fun for their new human caregivers.
