Liz says: We got Ichabod in January, though I met him within days of him being born. He's a Siamese, however not pure white, and has some amazing patterns on him. After my older cat died, I wanted my remaining cat, Pikiti, an Oriental shorthair, to have a little friend. I originally bought Pikiti as an ex-breeding cat at three years old, and I liked her so much that I wanted another like her, with the same personality. That's why I went back to the same breeder, my friend Sandra. All her kittens have the same personality and nature; it's really great. Ichabod and Pikiti are not related except as adopted siblings.

Ichabod has got the nature of a dog, and right from day one he decided he was boss and would tell everyone else what to do, including Pikiti. He eats anything he can and loves to spend hours in the backyard stalking bugs, crickets, and moths. Unfortunately he has a slight addiction problem. He's addicted to woollen gloves and socks. We have tried to get him into a support group, however he doesn't admit to the addiction. He will take any opportunity to sneak into bedrooms, take gloves, hide behind the couch or similar, and attack them for hours on end until there are just a few pieces of wool left. If we dare to take them off him, he turns into a dog and does the whole tug-of-war thing. We have just learnt to hide some things from him.

Pikiti didn't like Ichabod at first, but after a couple of days she decided she could do with a new plaything. They generally have the "playing hour" when they chase each other around the house causing mayhem, smashing things, etc. I have tried to encourage them to do it outside, but apparently it's a little to cold for that. They both sleep on my bed snuggled up to my legs, though I often wake up at 3am to find a kitten attacking and pummelling my legs and feet. So I arranged a box for them to sleep in now complete with a duvet and an electric blanket to keep them warm throughout the winter. Ichabod, however, is still not convinced that it's the better place to sleep. But we're getting there!

SO gorgeous - love his helicopter ears and amazingly blue eyes. Plus, what a character! This isn't the best of the lovely pictures but I can't resist a cat yawn!

Ichabod , your ears are nothing less than majestic! And it is evident to all & any that you rule the roost. And it would be errant of me to not mention how utterly enthralling those deep bright blue eyes of yours are.
Enjoy your life as you rightfully deserve.
