Three Little Foster Kittens Part 1: Cricket

Jill says: After our first foster litter were adopted, and then our foster girl Penny, Cricket and her siblings came to our home for foster care. The guy that brought them to the SPCA found them living under a shed and thought that their mom had been hit by a car because the kittens had been alone for a few days. They were about three weeks old when we got them. They were so tiny and skinny and dirty! We named this one Cricket because she was so vocal and had such a loud meow for a little kitten. Though overall, she was the quietest of the three. She preferred to watch her sister and brother play than participate and will make a great lap cat!

Such a sad story with such a happy ending. Please, everyone, check out Alley Cat Allies. They catch, spay or neuter and release feral cats back into the wild and thus prevent such a sad ending for a mother cat with kittens. If you own (sorry, are owned by) a cat, please keep them inside and have them spayed or neutered. If you want a kitty, PLEASE take a shelter cat!
