Ruby Soho Squirmy Pants

Kathryn says: Our beloved sphynx cat Maya (aka Maya Pants Kooky Dance) gave birth to one little kitten on 11/7/08. That kitten was instantly called "Squirm," since that's what she did. :-) Eventually her name evolved to Ruby Soho Squirmy Pants. These two kitties are the most loving creatures to ever exist. Silly and sweet and beautiful, they couldn't be better.

I have always loved Sphinx cats. Your two just drove me to another level of appreciation. Mom is just so beautiful and patient and loving. Her little boy is such a boy!!!! What a cute little kitty he is -- but oh so very bad! :-) Gorgeous.

Awww, she is cute! Sphynx has always been one of my favorite breeds - they are so sweet and have a fantastic sense of humor. Plus, you can't beat that "suede hot-water bottle" feeling when you hold them. :)

I can't say I enjoy Sphnxes because breeding them hairless poses them to several risks, especially temperature wise. It's not really fair to the cat :(

I had to comment again - notice how they touch each other so much with their pawsies - that's because they have no whiskers to explore their surroundings. Another of the sphynxes' characteristics. The only thing I don't like so much about the breed (I have one sphynx girl at the moment) is that they are terrible gluttons, but they need lots of food to keep their body temperature regulated. I got used to it now and just take it in stride. Her lovely character more than makes up for it.
