Darcy says:
When I moved in, a gray tuxedo female with no collar acted as if she was supposed to be fed at my apartment. I assumed her owners had to abandon her when they moved. I fed her outside and called Humane Society, but they never had a space for her. I put up photos of her, and three people called to claim her! The real owner calls her Buddha and says that Buddha doesn't like to wear her collar and is spayed. For a few days after that, she even sported a new collar. If Miss Gray were a lap kitty, I might find a way to pay the pet deposit. I found a very similar cat, her "twin," in another part of the city. Miss Gray disappeared for a while, but has shown up at my place again, crying that familiar "Feed me" meow. I have resisted so far.
