GG says:
I rescued Sammy a year ago from a co-worker who found Sammy when he was only 2 weeks old. She nursed him and his siblings back to health but Sammy was the only one who survived. I took him just as he stopped nursing so he was only a few weeks old. I took him to my vet and the poor little guy was so sick! He was infested with fleas, had some parasite that only 10% of cats get (which could have been deadly), and had double eye infections. It took about 6 months of no sleep and constant trips to the vet but now he is 100%. I never was a cat person, I always have loved animals but as a child, never had cats. I can see now what I was missing all my life! He is my constant source of my happiness. He plays fetch. He greets me at the door for his tummy rubs and we play chase around the house. Sometimes I don’t know who is in charge sometimes, me or him! I would bet on any given day that he is the boss!
