Katlove says:
Achilles-- (I'll try to make this short) We knew his stray mother had kittens, born 4/6/08, but not how many, one day my boyfriend say two paws dangling from the bottom of the house, he was stuck between the wood outside and the foundation. It took about 15-20 minutes to get him out. He had been going in and out of consciousness throughout. When he came out we thought he was dead, our landlord, who had helped us, carried him off because I was crying to hard. 5 minutes later my boyfriend came to me and said he was alive. I ran outside and scooped him up and stayed up all night watching him. He went to the vet the next day, diagnosis; hemorrhaged eye, fractured skull, they didn't know how he would turn out but thought he would have some brain damage. I don't know how he even got up in that crack, but I am so glad I got him out. As of now he is 1yr and 1/2 and doing great; no brain damage! Since he was only 3-4 weeks when this happened, he didn't have his mother long enough, he used to suckle my stuffed tiger, and it had to be taken away after awhile. He doesn't like to be held unless you hum to him or make kissy noises, while rubbing his side and holding him very gently across your chest. He is very playful and loves getting kisses, although he is a bit whiny sometimes.
