Here are two from the litter of six. They are four weeks old, born on Feb. 24. I was in Palm Beach Leasureville in Boynton Beach staying with my mother and there was a lady there that had been feeding a pregnant stray for three months, but had been unable to catch her. If she could catch her she was planning to adopt her. The mother lived in a tree, and came down to eat, and we feared she would have the kittens in the tree (It was full of some kind of big birds nests.) She was clearly about to have the kittens any minute. We kept trying to lure her into a trap and failing, until finally, after weeks of trying , I just grabbed her and stuffed her in the cat carrier. Soon after she had the kittens. The Lady is planning to keep one (the one least likely to be adopted, if you can know that, they are all so cute). The father is a feral stray we called "Handsome." We actually caught him too, but there was no place we could take him where they wouldn't just kill him, so we decided to neuter him and let him go, but while we were frantically working it out somebody came along and released him, so he's still around. At least these kittens will grow up tame and hopefully find homes where they will be spayed and neutered. Spay and neuter your cats today!
