Sammy

futurecrazycatlady says: Sammy was in a box of free kittens with his brothers and sisters outside of a grocery store in the town where I live. My dad had been looking for a kitten for me, after my first cat died the year before (Nov. 2009), of heart worm. He figured he'd have the new kitten for me when I got back from my weekend away for my 18th birthday. But as it turned out, he waited till I got home to get him. Poor little guy was so scared on the way home! Dad was driving an older blazer and had nothing to put him in to keep him safe, so he was sitting on his shoulder. Something scared him, so he clawed his way down to the floor and hid underneath the seat, crying his little head off. And the little booger was strong too, so Dad called him Samson. It stuck, and while we usually only call him Sam or Sammy, he knows when he's bad, his full name is coming! Sammy just turned a year old on March 30th, and continues to get into no end of trouble.
