jennyt says: Shirley was rescued from the middle of a four lane street after some kids were tossing her back and forth like a ball. They threw the ball into the street and she stood up. I put my car in park and jumped out and ran 8 car lengths to scoop her up. Praying the whole time that no one hit her. She was approximate 4 weeks old. She was covered in mud and thorns. We picked almost 50 out of her. She did not know how to eat or use the litterbox all of which we were responsible to show her. She just turned a year old and I am so glad she is in my life.
