Mamakitty

kittycatluvr says: Mamakitty is the mother to Elvis, Priscilla, Tigger, and Gracie. She belonged to my neighbor who didn't really take care of her, get her shots, or get her fixed. She started visiting us and was very friendly and loving so we started leaving food for her. She had Elvis and Priscilla. I encouraged my neighbor to get her fixed, gave info and addresses. She had Tigger, Gracie, and two others in the next litter. I decided that's enough and got her shots and fixed. She was always friendly but she turned into a big kitten after she got fixed. She played more...a happy outside kitty. Sometime later she scratched her ear bad and I took her to vet to get it treated. I picked her up the next day and she disappeared. I didn't see her for three weeks. The day after I took up the food bowl she came up crying and skinny. We guess she slept in our neighbor's shed and got trapped inside when they rearranged it. We kept her inside for a about a week and she eventually fattened up. Months later we are in the process of moving and I went with my gut feeling and decided to make her an inside cat and take her with us. I knew she would never survive there without us. At first she hated being inside but after we moved she realized inside life is great. She plays with toys and chases the other cats. She is the Mamakitty....she lets the other cats fight until someone yells then she smacks them both. She is a big lap cat too...still very loving...but now a fuzzy bowling ball with legs.
