Karen says: Sherwood came to me for fostering from the Humane Society the middle of June. He was from a litter of six kittens that were taken to the shelter after the mom-cat was killed. They were put with a foster mom-cat and her three kittens. When I got them one kitten had passed away, and I lost three more kittens in the first few days that I had them. I took them to the vet and tried everything I could do but I lost Sherwood's little sister Moon about ten days after I got them.
Sherwood has had some rough bumps with being so small and then a upper respiratory infection. He is the smallest of the surviving kittens but he eats the most. In fact he stands in or lays across the middle of the food dish to keep the others away from HIS food. Then he has to wash all the food off his feet. :-) But he is now two pounds and is ready to be neutered this next week. I think I am going to keep him, but his other three siblings will be going up for adoption after their surgeries.
